A call is encrypted in your browser to the drand round at the market’s close. The commitment hash goes on chain in a memo you sign; the slot is the timestamp. When the round lands, the opener decrypts every call with the public beacon and publishes it, hit or miss. The grader scores it from the outcome source and anyone can replay the grade.
Why it can’t be faked: nobody holds a key that opens a call early, the memo pins the ciphertext before the outcome exists, a late seal is invalid by rule, and the record can’t be edited after the fact. The ciphertext and the beacon are public, so the whole chain of custody is replayable.
